What is a Visa? A visa is permission to enter the country, not to visit a particular city, nor stay in a specific hotel. See pictures of types of visas and invitations for more information.

In certain circumstances the application for an  invitation may be refused by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or the  visa may not be granted by the Russian Consular Section. We have no control over these events, and a reason is not always given. In these circumstances a refund cannot be made. Refunds are only available prior to your data being submitted to the Russia Ministry. In line with all Embassies, the fees are for applying, not the granting of a visa invitation or visa.
